On Tuesday, 10th March 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal, Hon. John Matey Atter, visited Akro Senior High Technical School to inspect the progress of the ongoing Modern Assembly Hall construction project.
The MCE was accompanied by a team of engineers from the Municipal Assembly. During the inspection, the Director of PIWAK Construction Company led the delegation around the project site to assess the current stage of work.
According to the project team, construction has successfully reached the footing stage, marking an important step toward the completion of the facility.
The Headmistress of the school, Miss Theresa Hushie, joined the delegation during the site tour. She expressed her excitement about the steady progress of the project and conveyed her sincere appreciation to the Government for supporting the development of the school’s infrastructure.
The school community remains optimistic about the successful completion of the modern Assembly Hall, which will greatly enhance assemblies, examinations, and major school events at Akro Senior High Technical School.
