Following the sod-cutting ceremony held earlier this year, PIWAK Construction Company has returned to site to officially commence construction works on the modern Assembly Hall at Akro Senior High Technical School.
The Headmistress, Miss Theresa Hushie, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Akosua Awatey, the Member of Parliament, Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Teilabie, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. John Matey Atter, for the honour and support extended to the school.
She noted that the commencement of construction marks a significant milestone in the development of the school and reaffirmed the school’s readiness to support the contractors to ensure the successful completion of the project.
The modern Assembly Hall, when completed, is expected to enhance school assemblies, examinations, and major events, contributing to the overall growth and academic life of Akro Senior High Technical School.
